Yes I can and no not really.
I have a kind of blissfull disregard for things at the moment which will lead to me throwing my life away. That coupled with simultanous panic about almost everything.
Confusing I know. Something happened. But I am fearful to blog about it.

Dear Water,
I'm not really down or angry but I am scared. And I guess I'm down now because a close friend died today.

If I were there now, I'd give you a big hug. I know it wouldn't help but I'd do it anyway.

Yeah. Hehe. He isn't that kinda guy Tom. And if he was, he wouldn't tell me about it.
He'd never tell me his thoughts on it.
But yeah, I mean every word I write about him.
Thanks for your thoughts,

Quite. And I never play standing up.
Always sat in my giant beanbag or on the edge of my bed.

The V shape is a classic triumph of style over function: it's impossible to play a V guitar sitting down.

Yeah its pink. Quite cute and all. Extremely uncomfortable to play though. Has quite a deep sound compared to some ukulele's. People seem to class it as a soprano but I think its closer to a concert size really. In body anyway.
Yeah it makes a long red line mark thing in my arm if I play it long enough. Speaking of which I have just b more…

Yeah I mean the sound is why I took it up. For want of a better way of describing it, it sounds cuter than the guitar. There is something gentle and serene about the ukulele which the guitar doesn't have.
I have 4 uke's. One flying V, one Les Paul and two standard soprano uke's. Love them all but the Les Paul is my usual one for playi more…

I still have several guitars which I do play, and a mandolin which I never play. I've always fancied trying a ukulele as they are pretty flexible and have a unique sound. The fact that they are so portable is handy too. I guess you have probably hears a Ukulele orchestra before - fabulous sound.

I feel like that about my guitar. It was beautiful. But then I took up the ukulele. Been playing for about 3 years now. Best thing I ever did musically.

I've just been listening to their QOTSA cover:

Marvelous. It reminds me of how much I used to enjoy playing the Cello. I wish I hadn't sold it now.

I've just downloaded everything by them on Frostwire. My favourite tracks at the moment are 'dance dance' fallout boy cover, despite fallout boy being little morons themselves.
I also love 'time is running out' muse cover, and 'seven nation army' white stripes cover.
Like all of those better than the originals.

The VSQ have done so many albums now it's almost scary. The ones I've heard have all been excellent: Led Zeppelin, Arcade Fire, Bjork, Hendrix, Pet Sounds...maybe a couple of others too.
Which ones have you heard and liked?

Hi Tom,
Yeah. I guess I was reminded what it is I go through it all for. And what it is worth. It is more than worth it.
Thanks for your thoughts.
